From Homeless to Outreach Worker

“I didn’t really see any light at the end of the tunnel…”

Ryan Snape was homeless for a number of months and had given up on life after going through a relationship breakdown and using a number of different drugs. This article by the Yorkshire Evening Post details Ryan’s story and how the Charity CGL / Street Outreach played a big role in his life.

In a message to anyone not sure of taking outreach support, he said: “Trust services. I’ve in the past maybe been apprehensive and maybe had certain opinions. I’ve seen both sides, now I’m on the other side. The people I work with, they’ve got the best interests and we just want to help.”
