St John’s Homelessness Initive (SJHI)

St John’s’ is a one billion pound new development in the centre of Manchester and is being described as Manchester’s newest neighbourhood. SJHI is the first of it’s kind collaboration in the UK created to contribute towards ending homelessness in the city.

How Supervised ‘Consumption Sites’ Are Saving Lives in Vancouver.

More than 200 lives have been saved since Vancouver Island’s largest supervised consumption site opened just over one year ago, but experts say more can be done.

Meet…..MASH

From keeping safe, to managing money, MASH has provided support to female sex workers for 25 years. Manchester Action on Street Health offer regular drop-in sessions, sexual health clinics, counselling, and sometimes just a friendly face to talk to when its needed most.

Nowhere. Fast. Unsupported Temporary Accommodation

With the media very much focused on people sleeping rough in Greater Manchester, perhaps it’s worth being reminded of all those living in Unsupported Temporary Accommodation (UTA’s) and how JUSTLIFE supports people – people who are homeless and hidden.
