Appeal for Volunteers at Provision House

Provision House (formerly known as Loaves ‘N’ Fishes) is a Christian charity based in the West Midlands who are committed to the relief of poverty and all its effects on the people of Sandwell, Dudley and the wider Black Country.

During the past month, a new cohort of students began their training programme to help them progress into employment.

It’s also been a great beginning to the year for their charity shop, The Provision Emporium, which has seen increased demand already with some great pieces of furniture that have been donated. The Emporium are running a general sale on women’s clothing (jumpers, cardigans & top) as well as multiple articles of children’s clothing – all for £1

These are some great discounts currently on offer their store at 80-81 Dudley High St. The opening hours are Monday-Friday (9:30AM-4:00PM)

Provision Food Club are also bidding for a cash boost from the Tesco Community Grants initiative. Tesco works with community charity Groundwork to run its community funding scheme, which sees grants of up to £1,500, £1,000 and £500 awarded to local community projects.

Provision House are currently appealing for volunteers

Volunteers are a crucial part of Provision House. The charity would not run as smoothly as it does without volunteers. Volunteers could work in the warehouse, on the vans or in the shop. All of these would be fantastic places to learn and apply your skills to a given area
