Southampton Conference – Working together to end rough sleeping

Southampton Street Support Action Group held their eighth conference in June, which is now our third one held online. It was well attended by agencies, local government, the voluntary sector, councillors, and our local MP’s. The conference gathered to hear reports of the work with those sleeping rough over the last year and the progress made as well as some future plans.

Our keynote speaker was Caroline Roundhill from the Department for Levelling Up, Housing & Communities who spoke about working together to end rough sleeping. At the start of the conference a video made by the students of Solent University Southampton for promoting the change the way you give campaign on social media was shown.
