EGG (or Engage, Grow, Go) is a Manchester and Stockport-based charity, offering homelessness support throughout the North West. We look at the long-term solution, helping people out of homelessness, into their own homes and either work or self-employment. 

How important are volunteers to EGG?

Volunteers are crucial to EGG. We have a database of Volunteer Mentors who provide 1-2-1 bespoke support to our clients. Without them, EGG wouldn’t function.

What are some of the current volunteer opportunities available at EGG?

Volunteering at EGG can come in all shapes and sizes, there’s something for everyone. Whether you want to get hands-on and offer mentoring sessions or support us with the outreach program, we’d love to hear from you. Alternatively, if you could offer administrative support, you will be sure to make a difference that way, too. 

As a charity, we rely on the support of volunteers to make sure that EGG’s values and standards are upheld at every step of the way.
