Between 2017 – 2018 Sleepsafe helped 43 people to move off the streets of Bournemouth and in to safer and more secure accommodation. ♥️🏠♥️

The Winter emergency beds programme was run in 10 local churches under the BCARS banner and facilitated by Faithworks – around 120 wonderful volunteers provided food, drinks, a ready welcome and a word of encouragement. Only 2 folk couldn’t be housed at the end of the 4 month project.

When I came into Sleepsafe I had no purpose or direction, I was lost, and I needed to take stock of my life. I have a daughter locally, who I love very much, and I want her to be proud of me.  I was fed up with drinking and sleeping in my ex-wife’s shed.  I haven’t drunk for 3 weeks now and tomorrow I’m moving into Emmaus, so I have my own room and work which is brilliant. What’s really brilliant is that my daughter can come and visit me as well. Thank you Sleepsafe.”
